Hello Pegasus 3 Users!

If you own Pegasus version 3, you can update your program with all of the latest corrections and improvements by clicking on the "Download" icon above. Downloading this update is useful only if you own Pegasus; otherwise, it will not be of any use to you.

How to Install the Pegasus 3 Update:
1. Quit Pegasus if it is currently running, then click on the "Download" button. After you click on the Download icon above, you will be prompted for what folder you want to put the file PEGUPDT3.EXE. It is not of critical importance where you put it, but we suggest putting it in the PEGASUS directory where the Pegasus progam is installed just because this is a very reasonable place to put it.

2. Click on this link http://www.astrosoftware.com/update/pegupdt3.exe. The file download screen is the displayed.

3. Click on "Save this program to disk" then click on "OK". The "Save As" screen is then displayed.

4. Click in the "Save in" box then click on drive "C". The folders on drive C is then displayed.

5. Double click on the "Pegasus3" folder (assuming that your Pegasus 3 is installed in drive C). The Pegasus3 folder is now in the "Save in" box.

Note: Do NOT rename the file in the "File name" box and "Save as type" box.

6. Click on "OK". The file will then start to be dowloaded to the Kepler60 folder.

Note: Make sure that the "Close this dialog box when dowload is complete" is uncheck. This way, when the dowload is completed, the "open" button is activated.

7. When the dowload is complete, the "Dowload Complete" screen is displayed. Click on the "Open" button. The installation process will then start. The "Welcome" screen is then displayed.

8. Click on "Next". The "Choose Destination Location" screen is then displayed. Click on "Next" then click on "Next" again. The file will then be installed. When finished, the "Installation
Complete" screen is then displayed.

9. Click on "Finish" then click on "OK".

Pegasu Update Additional Installation procedure to update your atlas of cities with some corrections:

1. After installing the update file, run Pegasus.

2. From the Opening screen, click on "Birth File", and then select "Import Place Data". The "Enter disk drive A-Z" screen is then displayed.

3. Enter the drive letter where Pegasus is installed (usually dirve C) and then click on "OK". The "Import PLACES.TXT into Place File" screen is then displayed.

4. Click on the "Start" button. When done, the "Information" screen is then displayed. Click on "OK".

After doing the above, Pegasus will be updated with all corrections and improvements that have been made to the program including the new DST infomation.
